Hi All,

A couple of things in response to this. Linus (34 weeker with little
complications) seems to have problems with stairs (at age 2.5) but I
attribute part of that to size. His 14 month old cousin is about an inch
shorter (33" vs Linus' 34") and out weighs Linus by a few lbs. I figure
at 2.5 the stairs will seem a lot lower to *that* kid than they are to my
Liney. But I will add that as I was chasing after him at an outdoor
party last week I started laughing (and he's looking back figuring "gee,
mommy's not mad, afterall, might as well keep going!") becuase he looks
so funny when he runs! Still kind of knock kneed!

As for the second preemie problem, we're wrestling with that ourselves.
My OB/Gyn suggested a pre-conception visit with the perinatalist. I
really think this guy (the perinatalist) saved Linus (he made the call
that we shouldn't wait to have him delivered waht with all of my bleeding
and stuff) so I have faith in this guy (as well as my Ob/Gyn). The
perinatal center in Syracuse,NY is the same place where I had my amnio and
genetic screening (after a low reading on that awful bloodtest- which one
is it? - that screens for neural tube defects and downs, etc) so they
have alot of info on me in that office. I'd really like to hear what he
has to say before we make a decision.

Margot mom to Linus The Magnificent! (34 weeks)
