This was a problem for us, since we didn't have any clear good
pictures of Nicholas from back then since all the tubes, etc. were in
the way, so they will try to use a current picture of us to show how
healthy he is now.

I basically wrote the story and emailed it to the author of the story,
and she edited it. So, it was true, but since they had to shorten it,
some key ideas and parts to it were left out. So yes, some parts were
definitely glossed over. But all in all, it is good.
Thanks for the message!
Stephanie, mom to Nicholas, 31 weeker, now 11 1/2 weeks

Thats great to have your child featured! Save hundreds of copies!
Pet peeve. Photos, TV programs etc about preemies and the premature baby
just looks like a minature full term baby. Either they can't or won't show
what a true preemie looks like. Almost all my baby pictures from the NICU
have a tube or a wire in them somewhere, not to mention the lousy haircut.
Actually, not a bad photo in this week's Woman's World - about twins that
did better when in the same isolette.
I don't get American Baby. Stephanie did you feel the story was very true
or were some parts glossed over? 31 weeks is nothing to sneeze at and can
scare any woman reading it in their doctors waiting room.
