I just thought I'd add ny $0.02 here, my sister was a full term, over 8 lbs baby, and resistant to cuddles from the start. My mom said she would use all her strength to pull away. Turns out it's just her personality, she's very independent, and at 25, perfectly normal (although many people argued this point in the mid-eighties when she went through her "punk" phase!) Mary
