Hi Angie and all!
I guess I also must have a laid back pediatrician and a very laid back
neonatal staff. Katrina came home on Fathers Day two years ago. About three
weeks before her due date. It was an unexpected release and plans had already
been made for a big Fathers Day dinner at a local Japanese resturant. I was
sure that I would not be able to go to the party and decided to ask the
neonatologists (Three of them). Their only comment was "Can we Go?". I guess
that caught me off guard and I asked my Pediatrician and he said " Have a
good time, but I don't think Katrina is quite yet ready to eat Sushi ". At
the time of her release, she weighed in at 4 lbs 1oz and 2 days Post-Op. Go
Figure!
