Hey gang, I have an idea.......

Mary has been so great in getting an info sheet together, it got me to 
thinking....

I would like to put together a "coming home advice" sheet.  

We have new subscribers bringing their babies home all the time.  And 
pretty much they all have the same questions and fears.

If all of us 'old timeres' would take a moment and jot down our advice, 
experiences, and such of the first few moments home, I'll put it all 
together and forward it whenever someone on the list is about to take 
their baby(s) home!!!!

So send me all your ideas and advice.  Remember to include the stuff on 
diapers, clothes, meds, monitors,how much you took the baby out how you 
handled visitors,things that worked to comfort them, how you handled 
when you (the caregiver) got sick, you get the idea.  Those of you who 
came home with O2 could include advice on how to handled that.  

I think this would be a great way to share our knowledge and give some 
comfort.

After I get that all together, maybe I'll work on one for advice while 
in the NICU.
