Susan, Has your friend gotten another opinion? If she's not completely comfortable with the Dr.'s decision, she should see another pediatrician if not 2more. I think a parents gut feelinf is far better taken care of before a Dr's pride. Give her our good thoughts and our prayers for her twins. To answer the question.
