Oh yeah, I am a Strep B carrier as well.  Just add it to the list.  So
until I had son #2, the doctors weren't sure what caused the PROM.  Was it
septate uterus or Strep B?  So Son #2 was full term born with Strep B
infection.  Therefore the doctors and I agree that the cause in my case of
PROM was septate uterus.

He needed 7 days of IV antibiotics and the nurses in this hospital special
care nursery didn't know my preemie history. So they thought I was insane
when I first saw my boy and said "Oh good, only one IV and you didn't have
to shave his head".  Most parents in that case are freaking out.

Doctors are split on how to treat pregnant women with potential strep.
Some use antibiotics through out the pregnancy and some feel it has no
bearing.  I have many antibiotic allergies so this wasn't an option for me.
