Hi everybody,
The list has been quiet, so I thought it would be good time to ask my
question about meds during the NICU stay.
My little one, Devon, was on Pavulon for weeks during his second NICU
course. He was extremely critical and they wanted him paralyzed so he
wouldn't fight the vent. He was on narcotics and antibiotics and many
other types of meds too, but my main question is about Pavulon.
Are there any lingering effects of Pavulon? Once it is out of his
system, is it gone for good? Devon is on phenobarbital because of
abnormal EEG's and seizures (has had just one since discharge on Feb. 5)
and I just wonder how his little body is processing all this stuff.
