My 4.5 yr daughter was diagnosed with esotopia (both eyes cross) at 6 months.
We put her in glasses at 13 months. Finding glasses for that age was
horrible. She had a tough time wearing them but we found that by using the
glasses that wrap around the ear that we had better success. We recently got
rid of her glasses because they are not correcting her crossed eyes as we had
hoped. 

One hint would be to use a company like Eyemasters to purchase the glasses
because they would guarantee them up to a year and Laura broke several over a
short period of time. It can be very expensive! Hope this helps.
