I just joined today (6/4/96) after 'accidentally' finding this group.
My daughter was born at 34 weeks and, thank God, she had no problems.
However, after my delivery it was discovered that I had a partial septum
in the top of my uterus (it is NOT completely divided). The pressure of
this septum caused my water to break early and, therefore, an early baby.
There is a chance of it happening again but the septum 'stretches' with
each pregnancy so hopefully, future babies won't be any earlier. Can
anyone give me more info on this condition or has it happened to you?
I only have this one child and I am concerned about other complications.
I would appreciate your help.
                                       THANKS,
                                                Betty
