Dear Ina and all,

about readmitting preemies to NICU:  At Geisinger Med Ctr, where both of my
children stayed, they DO readmit previously discharged preemies to the NICU.
I have a friend who is the parent of a 23-24 wkr who has been readmitted
several times to NICU, even when he was a couple mo out of the hosp.  It
must be just different policies and procedure.  But my heart goes out to
those of us who don't get such prompt, efficient care.
