I had to jump in -- I am originally from upstate NY and now live in NJ. I had the same "yuck" attitude until I met my husband and saw the 'real' NJ. After that, I was in love (with both him and NJ). Where I live I can be in NYC or cow-country within 40 minutes.
P.S. My FT daughter had a hemangioma (size of small pea) which was removed because it bled.
