I grew up in Sussex County (Sparta to be exact), where
do you live ?? My younger sister also had a few hemangiomas
although hers were much larger than a pea, she had three
small ones on her head and one the size of a 50 cent piece
on her hand. They did fade (especially the small ones on her
head which I doubt anyone could find today). The one on her hand
is still visable although only because it's raised, the color has
faded.

I did want to suggest that any parent whose children have *multiple*
hemangiomas, cafe au lait spots etc... to see a pediatric dermatologist,
since the appearance of these benign skin conditions in large numbers
can *sometimes* be the symptom of something of greater concern.
