With one of my other children my ped suggested using Lotrimin AF for diaper rash. It is a antifungal foot lotion sold over the counter, I put it on her twice a day and within a day or two completely gone, (nothing else would even start to touch it). My SIL had prescription diaper rash cream with the same active ingredient, but cost about four times as much. Of course, double check with your Dr. Hope it helps.
