Hey, Anne. Be advised that, if he isn't yet, Vincent may NEVER crawl. 
If he does, he does. The inability to crawl is quite common in kids with hydro. I 
was a butt-scooter (no kidding!!) until 22 mo, when I literally got 
off my duff and WALKED across the room. With hemiplegia and 
hemiparesis, crawling is quite difficult, as you're using both sides 
simultaneously. I STILL have great difficulty using both at once, but 
then, we didn't have good PT and OT in the N-surg Dark Ages. <G>
