I'm so thrilled for you! Your heart must be pounding! Since Gary's
on ship, perhaps you could coax Taylor to play in the sand again and
get in on film--if you think he'd do it again for you. His daddy's
going to be thrilled, too!

I just had to share this!!!!
Taylor just spent the last 20 minutes PLAYING IN HIS SAND BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For those that are not familiar with me, Taylor is VERY tactile defensive. I
have been trying for over a year just to get him to touch sand. But today,
he just crawled right in and started playing with the shovel!!! He was
scooping and then throwing the sand in the air and letting it fall all over
him. This is such a breakthrough. I can't wait to tell his OT!!!
Also a plane flew over, pretty low, so it was loud, he pointed and said
airplane, airplane!!
His vocabulary is very limited and usually he only mimics. IT's not often
that he says something first.
Stellar day at our house. The only bad part is that Gary has duty, so he's
aboard ship, and he missed it all.
