Susan,

Your husband sounds like the life of the party! My husband
determined that we were indeed having a boy after studying the
picture of an early ultrasound. I mean the ultrasound was so early
that no "boy parts" were even developed yet. What was it based on?
The picture of Brandon in the ultrasound was shaped like a race car!
He told everyone at that point that he knew it was a boy and that he
would be a huge race fan. He was right on both counts!

Hi All!
There has been so much depressing talk lately, I thought you could all use a
good laugh. I know it makes me laugh every time I think about it.

When I first found out I was pregnant, my husband insisted it has to be a
boy. He is an avid sports fan. When I found out I was carrying twins he
jumped for joy (after the shock wore off) that we were going to have "Two
Boys". Then came the 20 week ultrasound, "One is a girl, the other is shy".
My husband, Andy was still O.K with that. "At least the other would be a
boy". We tried 4 more times to reveal the sex of "Twin A" with no luck. In
the delivery room, Andy who had been awake for 38 hours, sat in anticipation
of the arrival of his "son". Because this was an emergency C-Section, the
room was silent. Poor Andy almost passed out when my OB/GYN inserted what
looked like meat hooks into my stomach. He kept asking me "Don't you feel
that?". Then came the big moment, the arrival of BABY A. The doctor pulled
out a tiny blue baby and Andy jumped up and yelled "It's Blue!, It's a
boy!!!" Every Doctor and nurse present began to laugh out loud. My doctor had
to break the news that baby A was indeed a girl. Andy sat in silence and
mumbled something about having to get a "boy" dog. Needless to say, Andy has
adjusted well to having two daughters. You can ask Katrina(Baby A) and
Emily(Baby B) anytime, that is, when they are not learning to pitch
lefthanded or tackle from behind.
