Hi Liz. Glad to know my mom isn't the only b***h out there. Her reaction
to my first pregnancy was "Boy, you really know how to load it on". I had
left my first husband, met Mike and we weren't married yet. When I called
to say I was pregnant again she was even less thrilled. This still really
hurts because we are quite close. My mom lives in Ontario by the way so we
only see each other every 3-4 months (I'm Canadian). Anyway, everything is
fine between us but I'll never forget that I didn't get a joyous reaction
from her. You'd think that she would have been happy to learn that she was
going to be grandmother for the very first time. Oh well. Cynthia.
