Stacey and Gary,
Welcome, Welcome.

I for one am very interested with your experiences with the schools, the 
evaluations, the labels. etc.
I have recently been through a series of evaluations with Taylor, and he was 
given some labels that I really do not agree with. Mostly because of the 
manner in which he was tested.  I really do no think that the standard tests 
given, are completely appropriate for preemies.  I think that preemies, 
especially very early preemies, have a completely different way of dealing 
with the world and current testing does not take this into account. 

I am very excited to hear any words of wisdom from those with older children. 
 For instance, what lingering effects do they have, when did they start to 
really pull everything together, etc?

Again, welcome to the list. It sounds as if you will be a wealth of good 
information and advice!!!
