Bedrest humiliation

The only part of bedrest that I found truly humilitating was when I was in
the hospital on the mag and they needed to measure my liquid input and
output. The put a little pot gizmo on the toilet to measure. Most of the
nurses were good about checking every hour or two, but some weren't, so the
pot would be full and I'd have to go again. So I'd have to ring the nurses
station and broadcast to anyone who happened to be in the hall that I needed
the pot emptied. I know to them it was just part of the job, and wouldn't
have minded so much if they had given me a code instead of having to be
blunt.
