 Kim and Cynthia,
I had a baby aspirin a day from week 20 to week 30 during my second
pregnancy. I delivered a 9 lb 9 oz monster by C (because he was so huge)
at 39 weeks. He came home with me with elevated bili, and returned to the
pediatric ward for his first weekend because of the levels.

Cynthia, what side effects did you speak of with the aspirin? I had no
thought to the side effects, given the fact that the preterm delivery had
been so traumatic for Kevin that I knew I didn't want to do that again. I
was grateful for anything that would give me a chance for a typical
pregnancy. Andrew is now three.

My OB said she had read of low
>levels of aspirin and high levels of calcium being used in H.E.L.L.P
>prevention. She was reluctant to try these with me during my second
>pregnancy though because of other complications.
