  Gang,

  As you can tell, I'm attempting to catch up on some postings I've been
  attempting to send (I've deleted many "half baked" letters, but after the
  Send or Not-to-Send discussions, I've decided to not worry so much about
  it).

  There's something I've been wanting to say for a while now - MOTHERS (and
  WIFES) ARE AWSOME !!!!!!

  Lisa has been living away from home now for 3 months (1 mo. pregnant and
  either in the hospital or apartment, and 2 mo. at R.McD house).  She goes
  to the hospital every day and spends the whole day.  She deals with all
  the little ups-and-downs that I don't see on my weekend visits.  She
  attaches herself to the breast pump 5-6 times/day.  Sure, she has her
  little break-downs (usually on Friday night when I get there - she says
  she can't afford to break down the rest of the week - the girls need her).

  All this and she has the nerve to feel sorry for me - I have to cook for
  myself and drive 4 hours each way every weekend - well boo-hoo-hoo!
  During the hospital stay, while she layed upside down in bed, she kept
  insisting that my job was harder than hers (granted, I was forced to eat
  hospital food, but at least I could eat!!).

  Then I read all these other stories about the things some of you have
  gone through.  Thank God that women have the babies, or humans would be
  extinct by now.
