Jill,
Your experience is similar to mine.  I was beginning to think that I was the
only one who wasn't allowed more than a few minutes with their baby. It
drove me nuts.  The personality thing was terrible.  We had one nurse that
would let me bring the twin in covered in a gown and then we had others that
freaked out about it when she was awaiting surgery.  I wish everyone could
agree for a change in the NICU's.  I wonder to this day what the real rules
were.
