Joyce's letter.

Joyce,
I had many people asking about my twins. I was taking classes while I was
pregnant so many people knew I was having twins. Most of these people
didn't read the paper and didn't realize that one of them died at 4 days. I
had more people from school saying congratulations after she had died than
when they were born. I then had the awkward place of explaining what had
happened and then they were left to wonder if they had hurt me. I still
have people coming up to me and saying "Your twins must be getting to be a
lot of fun?" I wish I had them to have a lot of fun with. Kristen is
growing so fast and I want her to stay little. I am not writing this to
make you feel that what you wrote wasn't important it is. Someone should
have said something to you. They may have not known what to say since your
babies were in the NICU. They may have been afraid to tell you everything
is going to be ok. People are becoming educated about hurtful things and
many are choosing to say nothing.

After rereading this I thought I shouldn't send it. My hubby said I should.
I hope this isn't offensive to anyone. I am sorry that everything I write
turns into a depressing story. Sorry if I offended someone.
Stephanie Wright.
