Thanks for your concern Marci, have just come home from visiting Devin =
in hospital - the ped. told us that he had a very severe case of Gastro =
(called it Addino) or something like that, he is still on the drip, not =
eating but throwing temper tantrums like mad. He cannot stand being =
restricted. I had to laugh reading all the mail about scrubbing up and =
wearing gowns - I thought that was all behind me - well I am back to =
scrubbing, spraying and gowning up.

Sorry, Marci, I do not think there is any pat answer to when they start =
sleeping through. Gareth (33 weeker) slept through from about 2 months =
corrected and has been a wonderful child in that way, when Devin is in =
hospital, we all manage to sleep till after 8.

Devin on the other hand is 2 years old and he has NEVER slept through. =
He wakes at least 4 times a night, screaming for his bottle. He is =
always awake by 6.30am.

I hope your little one settles down to a routine soon. =20

Thanks once again to the concern you are all showing to Devin. I wish =
we could all get together somehow, somewhere!

Regards, Ina

Subject: Re: Rosseter Family Introduction

A warm welcome to the Rosseter family! Your story was so touching...

After reading so many NICU stories, I realize how very fortunate we have =

been with Melissa (11/30/95, 32 weeks). I can only give the credit to=20
God and those many, many people world-wide who were praying for her=20
prior to her birth. She has been free from so many of the complications =

you all have been through -- the only ailment she has had since coming=20
home has been a cold, resulting in an ear infection.

A question, and a rather selfish one at that :-). I am desperately=20
longing for an uninterrupted night's sleep. At what point did all of=20
your children sleep through the night? My son was about 8-9 weeks, but=20
was also born at term, weighing 9# 8 oz. Melissa is now 8 weeks old,=20
corrected, so I'm anticipating that she may begin at any time. Much to=20
my dissapointment, I've had several people tell me lately that it's more =

dependent on weight -- "babies don't sleep through until they reach 12=20
pounds or so." Any opinions?

Any updates on how little Devin in S. Africa is doing?

Hugs to all the little munchkins {{{{}}}} --
