My son had reflux and didn't vomit much, he would only partially regurgitate
and have bad baby heartburn. It was diagnosed by an upper GI when he was 5
months old and you could see the food coming partway up. He was given Reglan
drops for this which helped, and we had to keep him propped up and prop the
head of his crib up several inches (6 encyclopedia volumes!). He also needed
to be fed every 2 hours, and I was nursing him, so life seemed like just one
big feeding. It felt like he'd be on the drops forever, I weaned him off
them completely right around his first birthday, and yet today I had to look
up the name because I couldn't for the life of me remember. I'll never
forget that they were orange, though, and David loved the taste!
