Your question regarding cerebral palsy and hydrocephalis is really a matter of semantics. A complication is an added problem not seen (expected) in most cases. Brain injury resulting in CP is part of the disease process. Thank you for noting the offensiveness of "abnormality". I will change it to "long term problems" when I make my next addition. Jane Brazy
