I don't have any answers, just sympathy. Emma tolerated Pro-Sobee
really well but she had awful problems learning to eat real food. And
she had chronic hard poops up until about 2 1/2. We seem to finally
be past that now (prunes were our best friend :).
Can you daughter take any of the Lactofree type formula? I think
it's slightly less expensive than Nutramigen (aka Liquid Gold).
Has anyone else's child had difficulty learning to swallow solid
food? Emma had the worst time learning to eat. She was on blended
food until about 2 1/4 years and up until she was 3 I literally
had to tell her when to swallow (otherwise she'd chew and chew and
chew forever). She gagged easily (still does) and would throw
up easily too (sorry to be gross...) I *hated* mealtimes with her!
I'm so amazed that my full-termer Shannon wants to start solids
now. Emma *never* showed an interest in what we were eating whereas
Shannon has been lusting after our food for a whole month already :)
