Eating problems

Hi
I recently joined the group and had expressed that the biggest
problems we were having with our son, Aaron, a 16 month (13 mo
corrected) 27 weeker who weighed 1#12oz at birth, is in feeding.
Specifically, he only weighs just under 16 lbs, which worries the
doctors (and us). He still takes the bottle, which accounts for
about 95% of his calories. First he was on Similac, then 30 cal
Similac, now we recently switched to Pediasure, which he seems to
like OK. The rest of the problem is that he will hardly eat any
solid food. He's never been good at that. For awhile he would eat
stage 1 or 2 baby food, but only a half jar at a time. Now he won't
allow us to feed him from a spoon anymore--he only wants to feed
himself. Most meals he hardly touches anything - maybe has one
cracker or 2-3 pieces of macaroni. He's very interested in watching
us eat, but will not try any of it himself. We're at a point, too,
because of his low weight, that we don't what to push the solids, but
are mostly letting him take the bottle, since it has so many calories.
If anyone has had a similar experience, I would be interested in
finding out what things you did to feed your little guy or girl.
