We discovered Carnation Instant Breakfast when Emma was 2 because literally,
if she got a cracker and a piece of cheese in her per day, I rejoiced.
I figured it's a little extra sugar but there is a lot of nutrition
and calcium in there too. Plus she loves her special chocolate milk!
I put one scoop of the stuff per 7 oz. tippy cup of milk and she
drank 2 cups of it a day plus whatever food I could get her to eat.
She stayed on Gerber 3rd foods until age 2 1/4. I would assess
what she'd had for breakfast and lunch and if it was a "bad nutrition
day" I'd do what I could to get a jar of that at least inside her!

Hope this helps,

Lynda, mom to Emma (who wore 4T slim jeans yesterday and they kept
falling off her :), 3.5 and Shannon, 5 months.
