By the way, we are at Greenville Memorial Hospital, in Greenville, SC. -------
We are permitted to visit anytime that we can get by the guard at the
front desk :) That's an inside joke with my family. Few people are
allowed in the hospital after 9:00 PM. We *are* allowed in, but we
have to remind the guard of this fact. They obviously don't know the
NICU rules. In fact, on more than one occasion, he asked us what
floor the NICU was on! (my wife and I now have permanent passes - only
have a problem it we bring a grandparent with us)
We must step out from 10AM to 1PM while the doctors make rounds. And we
were asked to step out once when the baby next to Matthew was having
problems.
We can call and talk to Matthew's nurse absolutely anytime (unless
she's giving a report to the next shift or at lunch...
