Hi Linda

Regarding your message regarding videotaping, it was wonderful I started 
taping him just before his 1st month birthday - at that stage he would 
have been 30 weeks gestation and carried on taping on and off until the 
day he was discharged.  When we look back now we cannot believe the way 
he looked then and the way he is now (2 years old).  We still tape often 
and have his first steps recorded.  Until someone has physically seen a 
preemie in the early stages they have no conception of what they look 
like and a lot of my friends have been stunned when they see just how 
small and helpless the little ones are - especially when they are 
virtually hidden behind tubes and oxygen boxes.
