Seems that Matthew's vent rate went up dramatically overnight (from 20 to 35). It had been as low as 18. The nurse said not to worry about it; "His settings will go up and down." But, of course, I worry anyway. Could this be a result of his infection? How worried should I be? Am I starting to sound like the typical distressed new father :) ?
