Hi Tom

Congratulations - holding the baby is wonderful for all concerned. 
All our son's monitors would improve when he was held.  We've learned how 
much he does love being touched, and we have regretted that we were 
afraid to touch him in his early days.  We thought it might distress him, 
but we know now that it wold have been the best thing.

Once Vincent began Kangaroo care, his weight started to improve and he 
never looked back, and we began to relax a bit too.
