Overview

Drupadi's revenge was the result of an exciting fusion of Indonesian and Middle Eastern arts. Held at Underbelly studio in Smith St, Fitzroy, sold-out audiences were treated to traditional Javanese Gamelan music by the Melbourne Community Gamelan, Indonesian shadow puppetry by Javanese trained Dhalang Helen Pausacker, Middle Eastern dance by Trisnasari and chanting by Anthea Siridopolous.
