TROPHY CHOICES

 PERSONAL SELECTION

·       You can visit one of our showrooms and select from a large range of trophies, medals and awards (over 1000 on display).

·       We carry an extensive range of figurines, holders and centres for your inspection.

·       We can show you pictures of an even greater range of trophies and dressings.

·       You can mix and match components from various suppliers and see how they look prior to ordering.

REMOTE SELECTION

·       You can choose from one of our catalogues and we will substitute the appropriate figure, centre etc for your presentation.

·       You can fax your order to us saving your valuable time.

·       A wider range of people from your club or organisation can be involved in the decision making.

ANNIE’S SELECTION

·       You specify numbers budget and general style.

·       Annie uses her many years experience in putting together an array of trophies that will look good at your presentation.

·       Combining your requirements with that of others will often lead to bulk discounts from suppliers which will result in bigger and better trophies for your money.

ENGRAVING

·       Should be typed if possible. Every effort is made to ensure the engraving is accurate with every plate being independently checked.  However, we cannot accept responsibility for misspelling if we have been unable to read your writing correctly.

TIMING

·       Ideally trophies should be selected 3 weeks before presentation.  This enables you to choose from the full range, including those with a 2 week lead time from the manufacturer.  We understand that final numbers may vary slightly as individual results become available.

·       At peak times the wholesalers often run out of specific items, so the extra time improves your chances of getting your choice.

SUBSTITION

In the event that your selected figurine or dressing is not available due to supply chain problems then another comparable figurine or dressing will be substituted.

HOW TO SELECT TROPHIES TO A  BUDGET

If you need to select a range of trophies at different sizes it can be difficult to decide on an appropriate size/price for a particular trophy.  The following method provides a good starting point and can easily be adjusted to meet your particular requirements.

·       Determine the number of trophies required and rank in order of importance.

·       Deduct engraving costs from budget to get amount to spend on trophies

·       Determine the midpoint of your trophy ranking and the midpoint of your trophy prices

·       Select above the midpoint for the more important trophies and below for less important.

Example1: A budget of $600.

Trophies ranked as follows

·  1st, 2nd & 3rd overall champions (to be significantly bigger than rest)

·  5 sets of winner & runner up for different sections

·  2 most improved

·  40 participation.

55 trophies to be engraved at say $2 per plate = $110 for engraving leaving $490 for trophies.

Midpoint of trophies to be most improved.

Midpoint price is $490 / 55 = $8.90 so select those trophies say we liked some at $9.00

Participation need to be lower in price say $5.00

Section winners to be above $8.90 say $13 for winners and $11 for runners up

Trophy costs this far are $338 leaving $152 for championship Say $90, $40 & $20

This would leave us $2 under budget.

Example2: A budget of $200

Trophies ranked as follows

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th,8th

1 last place

9 engraved plates @ $3.00 = $27 leaving $173.00 for trophies

Midpoint of trophies to be 5th.

Midpoint price is $173 / 9 = $19.22 so select that trophy Say $19

Go up by say $3.00 per trophy so 4th = $22 3rd = $25 2nd = $28 & 1st =$31

Go down by $3.00 per trophy so 6th = $16, 7th = $13 and 8th = $10 & last places = $7

Cost of trophies is $171 leaving us under budget by $2
