Fred's have a number of computerised engraving machines as well as a pantograph (for awkward shapes and some perpetuals) and can provide hand engraving services ( this requires several days turnaround)

A guide to the costs of engraving follows and will cover most common requirements.

Standard plate for your trophy or medal $5
Standard plate for trophy or medal supplied by Fred's $4
Large plate for your trophy or medal $7
Large plate for trophy or medal supplied by Fred's $6
Above prices are based upon standard 1 line computer You can have helvetica multi line and fancy script engraving.  These will add to the time taken for the computer to engrave the plate and can add up to 20% to the cost.  
A border box around the text $1
Rounded corners on the plate $1
Perpetual engraving year and name $6
Perpetual engraving extra details (additional names, locations etc) $1 each
Hand engraving has a minimum charge of $6 and is approximately 25 cents per word  
An alternative to engraving is Sublimation
