Next Meeting : Our next meeting will be held in the library on Monday 3rd September at 3pm for a cup of tea and chat. Meeting starts at 3:30pm. Any member is most welcome even if they`ve not been to a meeting before. Bring a friend too if you like.

Trivia Night : FOYL will be holding a Trivia Night later in the year. Due to unforseen circumstances we had to postpone the Trivia night that had been planned for July. Details for this evening will be posted soon so please check back.

Luncheon : The mid-year luncheon held at The Mulwala Hotel/Motel was enjoyed by those who attended. It was a nice cosy group and the food was excellent.

News Flash! : The next issue of our Newsletter is now available from the desk in the library. Our Editor is keen to hear people`s suggestions for items and would welcome any comment and/or contributions. Recipes, funny stories, short stories either you or people you admire have written, jokes, book reviews, the list is endless. There are some forms and a suggestion box in the Library. Please ask one of the Library Staff for assistance.

Next Raffle : Shirley Walker has very kindly donated a lovely quilt to be raffles soon. Tickets will be available from the Library from the next meeting on 3rd Septmeber. The quilt will also be put on display that day. Proceeds will go towards the Late Book Chute Fund.
