Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us;

Hymn "O God Our Help in Ages Past" (Tune St. Ann)|
God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our Eternal Home.

Beneath the Shadow of Thy Throne,
Thy saints have dwelt secure,
Sufficient is Thine Arm alone,
And our defence is sure.

Before the hills in order stood,
Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same.

A thousand ages in Thy sight,
Are like an evening gone,
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.

Time like an ever rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away,
They fly forgotten as a dream,
Dies at the opening day.

O God our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come.
Be Thou our Guard while troubles last
And our Eternal Home.

Hymn "Onward Christian Soldiers" ... (Tune St. Gertrude)

Onward! Christian soldiers,
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
Going on before.
Christ, the royal Master,
Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
See! His banners go.

Onward! Christian soldiers,
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus
Going on before.

.At the sign of triumph
Satan's host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers,
On to victory !
Hell's foundations quiver
At the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices,
Loud your anthems raise.

Like a mighty army
Moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading
Where the saints have trod.
We are not divided,
All one body we
One in hope and doctrine,
One in charity.

Crowns and thrones may perish.
Kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus
Constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never
'Gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ's own promise,
That can never fail.

Onward then, ye people!
Join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song,
Glory, laud and honour
Unto Christ the King
This through countless ages
Men and angels sing.

Address President local Branch Returned Sailors & Soldiers' Fathers' Association.
A. R. P. CROW, Esq. J, 1.

Hymn "Kipling's Recessional" ... (Tune Stella)

God of our fathers, known of old
Lord of our far flung battleline
Beneath whose awful Hand we hold
Dominion over palm and pine
Lord God of host, be with us yet,
Lest we forget lest we forget!

The tumult and the shouting dies
The captains and the Kings depart
Still stands Thine ancient Sacrifice
An humble and a contrite heart,
Lord God of hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget lest we forget!

Far called our navies melt away
On dune and headland sinks the fire,
Lo all the pomp of yesterday,
Is one with Ninevah and Tyre!
Judge of the nations, spare us yet,
Lest we forget lest we forget!

For heathen heart that put her trust
In reeking tube and iron shard
All valiant dust that builds on dust
And guarding calls not Thee to guard
For frantic boast and foolish word,
Thy mercy on The people, Lord!

Address President Footscray and Yarraville Ministers Association.
