for the period until midnight EDT Tuesday 14 February 2012.

Strong wind warning for Port Phillip.

telephone 1300-659-217* or through some TV and radio broadcasts.

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure extending through Victoria to eastern Bass Strait will
move westwards to central Bass Strait today while a ridge of high pressure
persists south of Tasmania. A low pressure system will likely develop off the
south coast of NSW later today. On Sunday the low will drift eastwards with the
ridge of high pressure expected to remain across Tasmania on Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for Saturday 11 February until midnight
Winds: Southeast to southwesterly 20 to 30 knots easing to 15 to 25 knots in
the afternoon then to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots in the evening. Seas: 1 to
1.5 metres increasing to 2 metres around midday. The chance of thunderstorms.

Forecast for Sunday 12 February
Winds: South to southeasterly 10 to 20 knots. Seas: 0.5 to 1 metres.

Forecast for Monday 13 February
Winds: South to southeasterly 5 to 15 knots tending south to southwesterly at
15 to 20 knots during the afternoon. Winds tending south to southeasterly
during the evening. Seas: Below 0.5 metres increasing up to 1 metre during the
afternoon.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 February
Winds: East to southeasterly 5 to 10 knots tending east to northeasterly during
the morning . Afternoon seabreezes to 15 knots. Seas: Below 0.5 metres.
