55 students and teachers helped to plant over 1000 plants at Muswell Bend Park.

65 people registered and 800 plants were planted on both sides of Gardiners Creek at Nettleton Park Reserve and Glenburn Bend Reserve.

MONASH FREEWAY WIDENING PROJECT NEWS

The freeway embankment was planted by local school students in 1999. Our Corymbia citriodora (lemon scented gum) is now registered by the National Trust of Victoria as a significant tree, File Number T12116.  See photos above and link below.
