Juniors Group

The Junior Group is specifically designed for children and teenagers. This group aims to encourage an interest in our natural environment and its study among young people. Parents are welcome too. Monthly meetings involve a short talk by an interesting speaker and discussion of exhibits brought in by the members. Excursions are held every month, as well as a Summer and Easter camp. Junior or Family Membership also entitles you to receive the monthly newsletter The Junior Naturalist.

Meetings & Excursions
(all meetings held at Club Rooms 1 Gardenia St Blackburn, starting at 7.30pm). Contact Programme Secretary Wendy Clark email: wendy.empathy@optusnet.com.au for further details on activities. On days of extreme weather conditions, please ring to check if excursion is cancelled.

Membership to the FNCV entitles you to attend all our activities and meetings, access to our extensive natural history library (for individual and family memberships only), discount books from our Bookshop and much more.
