FRIENDS OF EMERALD LAKE PARK
The Friends were formed in November of 2000 and incorporated as a non profitable organisation soon after. We have many members from the Emerald Community who are naturally strong supporters of the park.
We have an executive consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. We have a Committee who are seeking suitable Grants to finance projects that are approved by the Council as Managers of the park.
Our newsletter is published quarterly on the web. This keep our members and others informed of our activities and events in the park. Many interested people recieve our monthly newsletter. They are also available for anyone interested at the Emerald Library.
We do need more members, if, anyone is interested in helping us keep our park looking good, while having an enjoyable social outing with the friends, we would very much like to have you join us. So if you have a little bit of spare time available to help with an occasional working bee or project, please come along to any of our working bees. (see "important dates" on this site.)
We love to bring friends and encourage everyone to visit our park, it's a great place just to relax and enjoy!
