The Essendon Choral Society is a choir based in the community of
Moonee Valley (formerly the City of Essendon) which performs a variety of sacred and secular works throughout the state of Victoria.

The choir numbers 50 - 70 singers, mostly from 18 years old upwards.

The choir rehearses on Tuesday nights from 7.45 p.m. in the Junior School Hall of the Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School, Raleigh Street, Essendon.
New singers are always welcome.

There are normally at least two major concerts each year, as well as regular commitments to singing at various Christmas carol concerts and city festivals.

In addition to the regular choir, a number of members have formed a smaller group known as the Weekday Singers. As the name suggests, this merry band perform during the week, usually for various nursing
homes and small local organisations.
