Formerly known as "workshops" these General Meetings range from
mini-lectures to practical interactive sessions where members can
interact and learn new skills. The aim of these meetings is to provide a
more participative and interactive environment so that members can
become more involved with each other and share more of their collective
knowledge than has been possible in the past.
The club's resources - including a digital projector, laptop, LCD screen
and other assets can be used in tutorials, demonstrations and as a
means for members to share their own images and seeking advice from
fellow members.
Occasional field trips to local places of interesting photographic potential
are also used as an avenue for members to experiment and compare
notes in practical "on location" environments .
“General Meetings” rely heavily on the participation of members and the
sharing of skills, and all members are encouraged to participate and to
become involved in these activities.
