Want to know more about Eastern Raiders?...

If you want to play softball at any level come and join us. We aim to provide the enjoyment of softball to everyone who wants to play.

The Eastern Raiders Softball Club plays in the Waverley Softball Association at Jells Park, (Melway 71-K6), Wheelers Hill in Melbourne. We are also affiliated with both the Victorian Softball Association and the Australian Softball Federation. The Eastern Raiders Softball Club was formed in 1990 following the amalgamation of Mount Waverley Softball Club and Blackburn North Softball Club.

The Eastern Raiders welcomes players of all ages and capabilities to join us. We field teams in all age groups from junior T-ball through to senior A-grade. Opportunities exist for girls of all ages to advance through various grades of competition and to participate in teams competing in State and National Championships and even Masters (over 35!). We encourage all family members to join in and our main focus is fun and participation. We like to see our players and parents become involved in coaching, umpiring and scoring. We also cater for boys who can play in our T-ball and Primary B competition.

Raiders have repeatedly enjoyed success on the field each season and last year our Primary A junior team were premiers of their grade. Of our nine teams overall, six of the teams made the final four in their grade. Our A Grade team were runners-up and our A reserve finished third.

The Waverley summer softball season is played on Saturdays and runs from October through to the end of March. There are breaks for long weekends, Christmas and school holidays.

Further information and contact details are available on the administration page.
