Dr. Miles Lewis
Architectural Historian,
Senior Lecturer in Architecture,
University of Melbourne

Dr. Lewis, who is the winner of a number of awards and the author of several books and monographs on architectural history, has also served as a consultant to a number of Commonweath and Victorian Government bodies. He has also been active in the National Trust of Australia, has served on the International Council on Monuments and Sites ( a UNESCO body) and led the Australian Delegation at the Vth General Assembly, Moscow and Suzdal in 1978.

He is currently President of the Council for the Historic Environment and Chairman of the Australian Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites.
