Jenner Family - Lyn Bloomfield (1018)

My Great Great Grandfather John Adolphus JENNER arrived in Australia aboard the Champion of the Seas in 1855 with his brother Thomas. John then aged 22 and Thomas aged 23. Their brother Caleb Joshua JENNER had arrived in Australia in 1850 aboard The Clifton. They were the sons of Thomas & Sarah (nee Relf) of Sussex England.

    Thomas & Sarah's family were Sarah b1818, Caroline b1820, Ruth b1822, William b1822, Johnathon b1823, Esther b1825, Thomas b1827, Rhoda b1829, Caleb b1830, John b1832, Lois b1834 and Dorcas b?

The Jenner Brothers settled in Geelong and Ballarat with businesses in both towns.

The brothers were joined in Australia by their brother William and Sister's Ruth , Lois and Sarah, at later dates.

John Adolphus married Ellen McCann in 1860. They had 10 children, Roland b1860 (my grandfather), William 1862-63, Caleb b1864, William b1866, Adeline b1868, Ruth b1870, Jonathon b1872, Ellen b1875, Spencer b1876, Thomas b1879.

I would love to hear from any Jenner connections!
