The Friends' Group was launched on National Tree Planting Day the 2 August 2009


About Egan-Lee

Egan-Lee Reserve was named after a Knox engineer and is approximately four acres of open woodland featuring grassland species such as sedges and tussock grass. Orchids, like the group above also feature in spring.

In Knoxfield, Victoria, Australia off Wallace Rd

Aims

  • to promote the importance of RD Egan-Lee Reserve as part of the wildlife habitat corridor
  • to assist and encourage people to leave the Reserve as they found it
  • to enhance existing indigenous vegetation and biodiversity by re-planting suitable plants when and where and where necessary
  • to encourage residential participation and support for the Reserve
