The Edithvale Fire Brigade will be celebrating eighty years of tireless service to the community, both locally
and nationally. This year will be unlike any other. Along with our usual presentation dinner, the brigade will be 
comemerating those who have served along side their fellow men and women though the heart aches of 
Ash Wednesday through to the NSW bush fires, both of which claimed life and property. The dinner will thank
those who have given up so much toreceive so little in return.

The night usually in mid June consists of a 3 course meal, presentation of awards and 
dancing. The function goes from 6:00pm till about 12:00am. We invite approximently 120 
guests including the minister for Police and Emergency Services, Local Minister for 
Parliament and the local representative for the City of Kingston.
